1. Why are the prices of Travel Talk so affordable?
Travel Talk is a customer-oriented company. We use cost-effective control systems and work to keep the administration and operation expenses as low as possible while maintaining our high standard of service, to make our Travel Talk tours more affordable for you. Our ultimate goal is to deliver the value back to our customers and deliver experiences of a lifetime without breaking the bank.
2. What does the tour cost include?
The cost of your tour includes the services mentioned in the “Inclusions” section on every tour page. It mainly covers accommodation, transportation, guide service, breakfasts, sightseeing activities and some other inclusions depending on your itinerary. The total tour cost consists of two payments: the tour price and the local payment.
3. What is the Local Payment?
We know that it’s not always easy to have sufficient cash to cover the cost of your entire holiday in one go; especially when you book your flight ticket and tour at the same time. We aim to ease your cash needs through our pay easy system (
http://traveltalktours.com/pay-easy-system) by dividing the tour cost into two payments: the tour price and the local payment. You just need to pay the tour price to purchase your tour and the compulsory local payment will be paid when you join the trip.
You can pay the local payment in GBP, EUR, USD or the local currency; however we advise you to pay the local payment in GBP in order to avoid exchange rate differences at the destination. The local payment is a part of the overall tour cost and it covers a portion of the local expenses at the destination, including transportation, expenses of the local guide and the operation. The local payment does not cover extra costs like additional meals, entry fees, drinks, tips, personal expenses or other type of travel costs which are not stated in the “Inclusions” section of each tour.
4. What are the optional extras?
Optional activities are activities provided by local companies at some of the sites you’d visit and not included in the tour cost. Some optional activities are not operated by Travel Talk and may require a minimum number of attendees. You can find detailed information about the optional activities and costs in the pre-departure file of the destination you are travelling to. The pre-departure file for your tour can be found online on the tour page, in the “Overview” section, and is sent via e-mail together with your tour voucher as well. Please also check our “Inclusions” sections for the services included and excluded in the tour cost.

Please note this option is not always available, especially for sailing tours and camping (i.e. in the Saharan desert).
8. Is it safe to book online through your booking form?

You are responsible for obtaining all necessary visas prior to the departure of your trip. Please consult your travel agent or your consulate in advance to determine if or which visas are required and how to obtain them. Failure to obtain all necessary visas could result in you not being allowed to enter the destination and could result in considerable expenses and inconvenience. Please also remember that on some tours you may need multiple visas to enter the same country more than once. More information about visas is also available on the pre-departure files of the relevant destinations.
10. How can I get to my tour starting point?
It is your responsibility to arrive at your tour’s starting point on time. Travel Talk tours do not include any form of transportation to your tour destination such as flights. Some tours may include an arrival airport transfer, whereas others may start at your meeting point as the arrival hotel or the boat (for sailing tours).
11. How can I get to my arrival hotel or meeting point?
If your tour includes arrival transfer from the airport, you will be taken to your arrival hotel or meeting point. If your tour does not include arrival transfer from the airport, the meeting points are pre-determined and made available to you in your pre-departure file and our website prior to the commencement of your tour. The meeting point can also be found under the “Overview” tab of your tour online as “Arrival Details”.
